Hi! My name is Ayla Bornsztein and I'm a rising senior at Central. Books have always meant a lot to me, and for the past 7 years, I've read the same book the night before school begins. I love this tradition and so I'm setting up a free book stand at Central's Freshman Orientation (September 3, 2026), stocked with coming-of-age reads. Chip in and help me fill the shelf!

The transition to high school is a lot — new people, new routines, a whole new version of yourself to figure out. Having books that students can actually relate to can make that easier. So I'm raising money to stock a stand of coming-of-age books at orientation.
